On 30 August 1905 the Emmetsburg Democrat, Emmetsburg, Palo Alto, Iowa, printed the notice: ‘Mr Arthur P. Blake and Miss Beatrice Whistler were married at West Bend’ (Palo Alto Co, IA USGenWeb Project ).
