From the wills transcribed below Hannah, the sister of William, lived in London at Cranbourn Street near Leicester Square. Possibly she later settled in Odiham to be near her brother and his family.

Proved in the PCC (Prerogative Court of Canterbury) 6 July 1790.

In the Name of God Amen I leave this as my last will and testament First I give to my dear wife the sum of forty pounds a year during her life to be paid out of my estates and effects and after her death I give to my daughter Hannah the house that was houses now occupied by Mr Ceasar and the garden behind the barn and the brick yard leading to it her heirs and assigns for ever and eight hundred pounds in money And I also give to my daughter Ann the house that Miss Springfield now lives in and eight hundred pounds in money to her heirs and assigns for ever I also give to my daughter Martha the house that Mr Staples now lives in and eight hundred pounds in money to her heirs and assigns for ever and after that is paid to my daughters and after the death of my wife I give to my son William all my estates and effects whatsoever and wheresoever to his heirs and assigns for ever and if either of my children should die before they come of the age of twenty one years their fortune to be equally divided amongst the other three or if more should die before they come to the age of twenty one years theirs to be equally divided to the survivors I leave my nephew William Knight one of my trustees to see my will executed and I give him one hundred pounds for his trouble and I leave Mr Richard Mumby and John Knight jointly in trust with him and I give them ten pounds apiece for their trouble I also give to my sister Hannah Seymour ten pounds for a suit of mourning I also give to my sister Mumby ten pounds for a suit of mourning I also give to my niece Mrs Ranton five pounds for mourning whereunto this day I set my hand and seal 20 day of September 1782

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Hannah Seymour of Cranbourn Street in the parish of Saint Ann Westminster Spinster made this tenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy six First I desire that all my just debts funeral expenses and the charges of proving and executing of this my will be in the first place duly paid and satisfied Item I give and bequeath unto my brother William Seymour the sum of one hundred pounds and to my sister Martha Mumby the sum of one hundred pounds To my nephew William Knight son of my brother-in-law Peter Knight the sum of one hundred pounds To my niece Hannah the wife of John Ranton daughter of the said Peter Knight the sum of one hundred pounds To John Knight the son of the said Peter Knight and to Mary Page the wife of John Page daughter of the said Peter Knight the sum of five pounds each for mourning All the rest and residue of my estate and effects both real and personal of what nature or kind soever I give devise and bequeath unto the said William Seymour and Richard Mumby their devises executors and admons to be divided equally between them share and share alike and I do hereby nominate and appoint them the said William Seymour and Richard Mumby executors of this my will revoking all former will and wills by me at anytime herebefore made and do declare this only to be my last will and testament In witness whereof I have hereunto and to a duplicate hereof set my hand and seal the day and year above written

This will was proved at London the fourteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety . . . by the oath of Richard Mumby the surviving executor named in the said will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the deceased.
