Henry Corker, late of Shavington in the County of Chester
"departed this life the 7th day of the same month".

In the name of god Amen I Henry Corker of Shavington in the County of Chester husbandman being sick
and indisposed of body but of sound and alert mind and memory thanks be given to god for the same
do make this my last will and testament in writing as followeth   And first and principally I bequeath
my soul unto the hand of Almighty god who gave it me and my body I commit to the earth to
be decently buried in the land of the parish church of Wybunbury there to lie in hope of a joyful
resurrection at the last day   and as for my temporal estate wherewith it hath pleased god of
his great mercy to bless me with I do hereby give devise and bequeath the same in manner and form
following   first whereas I stand lawfully possessed seized and invested in one cottage and tenement lying
in Shavington aforesaid   Item I do hereby give devise and bequeath the said cottage and tenement with
all its appurtenances and all my right title and interest in the same unto my brother John Corker and his heirs
upon condition that he pay all such debts and interest for the same which I stand indebted in unto
Thomas Liversage of Wybunbury aforesaid being in the whole the sum of eleven pounds of lawful
English money and interest for the same as may appear by two bonds or obligatory heretofore given
by me to him the said Thomas Liversage   and also upon this further condition that he the said John
Corker my said brother do pay unto my nephew John Allen being the son of my late sister
Ellinor deceased the sum of fifty shillings at such time as he shall be of the age of one and twenty
years   and also upon the further condition that he the said John my said brother do pay the one
half of all such my funeral expenses as my goods shall fall short to pay and discharge   Item
whereas I stand lawfully possessed and invested in one cottage and tenement lying in Waigherton in
the said parish of Wybunbury by virtue of one indenture of lease heretofore made to me by Mr
Snead of Keele in the County of Stafford my landlord   I do hereby give devise and bequeath the said
cottage and tenement and all my right title and interest which I have or can claim to the same unto
my youngest brother Joseph Corker   upon condition that he the said Joseph do also well and truly
pay unto my said nephew John Allen the further sum of fifty shillings at such time as he shall
be of the age of one and twenty years   And also upon condition that he the said Joseph do pay
the one half of such my funeral expenses as my said goods will fall too short to pay   And
further I do hereby give devise and bequeath all the said goods whatsoever or wheresoever shall be
unto my executors for the discharge and payment of my said funeral expenses and all other charges
whatsoever concerning the same and if any thing do remain it is my will and I do hereby give
and bequeath the same to be equally deveyded [divided] between my said two brothers John and Joseph
upon condition that my said executors have out of the same or if that be too short out of the
rest of my estate before herein mentioned the sum of twenty shillings apeice
with   Item it is further my will and I do hereby give and bequeath unto my said brother John Corker
all the corn as it now grows upon my ground in Shavington   upon condition that he do pay the
sum of forty shillings more than his equal part towards the discharge of my funeral expenses
And lastly I do hereby ordain constitute and appoint my two kinsmen John Corker of Shavington
aforesaid and Thomas his brother to be the executors of this my last will and testament   desiring them
to be careful to see the same performed in every respect according to my mind and will herein
expressed   and I do hereby disanull and make void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore
made and it is my will that this only be taken for my last will and testament and none other   In
witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this second day of June in the second
year of the reign of our most gracious sovereigns William and Mary by the grace of god of England
Scotland France and Ireland King and Queen defenders of the faith     Anno Dom 1690.
